Our Journey

I have so many fond memories and moments of the past couple weeks that are running through my mind I thought I would attempt this blog and post photos with words as much as I can. They are memories that are very close to my heart and I don't want to loose sight of them. Sometimes you'll see photos will say a 1,000 words and some could use some help with a little commentary, especially if you were not there when the photo was taken. Writing the words is not the easy part for me so I hope you are a little entertained by the photos at least.

This blog will start off by documenting our trip to the west coast of Florida for our destination wedding on September 19 and our adventure with our family, friends and each other.

Chad and I left for our trip on Tuesday September 15 with my mom Lela, my grandmother Lela and our dear friend and minister, Barb. We boarded Delta airlines with bright smiles and eager anticipation of the upcoming week. Not knowing what the weather would be, because it rains in Florida almost every day, and September being the height of Hurricane season. I am so grateful to have had my mother and grandmother and Barb with me and Chad so they could experience the beginning stages of the upcoming event and I must say, I couldn't have done it without them being right by my side.

We arrived in Sarasota on Tuesday September 15 and Chad arranged for John the Limo guy to pick us up from the airport. He was a quirky friendly man that drove an old style Limo that was cozy and cool. He dropped us off at Tropical Breeze Resort first for Barb to drop off her bags and check into her room.

The weather was 100% humidity and a scorching 90 degrees with bright and sunny skies. A sign to the weather holding up for us for the entire weekend.

We arrived to our place on Beach Rd. that Chad's good friends Katie and Eddie graciously put us up in for the week. Katie and Eddie live on the Key and she is in Real Estate. Our place was more than we could have ever asked for and we felt like we were already in our honeymoon suite. The condo at Gulf View was modern and plush with a view of the Gulf that went on for miles.

Check out the photos above of our grand condo.
